County Parties

Visiting a local Libertarian group is the first step towards effective political action.  Keep in mind that some groups are more active than others.  It's also a good idea to visit meetup.com, numerous Libertarian social groups can be found there. You can make a positive difference in your community, and we're here to help.

The following counties have active websites:

County parties are the local affiliates of the Libertarian Party of Texas.  Each county or group of counties are represented in our State Libertarian Executive Committee (SLEC) by Senate District.  Our state party is an affiliate of the Libertarian National Committee.

Most electoral action occurs at the county or city level, so it is vitally important for the Libertarian Party to have active county organizations and volunteers.  We encourage you to speak with your local leaders and attend local meetings.  This is usually the best way to get involved and find out where your help can make the most difference.

If you live in an area of the state that is not currently organized, please call our Executive Director, Robert Butler for more information. 512-758-9134 or 1-800-422-1776
